Tesla says FSD v15 is a ‘step-change,’ Optimus sells in 2027
Tesla provided an updated timeline for Full Self-Driving (FSD) and the Optimus robot during a meeting with JPMorgan. The bank reported that FSD v15 is considered a 'step-change' and that the current HW4 computer is capable of unsupervised driving. Additionally, Optimus is expected to be available for sale to external buyers by the second half of 2027.
